The frame can be covered with either 3/8" (10mm) anti butterfly net or ľ" (19mm) anti bird netting, simply select the net you prefer as you order.

The net is held with netting clips to the framework and firmly to the ground with barbed pegs.

Available with a plain aluminium frame 'standard' or with a green powder coating 'deluxe' to make a very unobtrusive cage.

Please Note:
In snowy weather butterfly and bird netting should either be removed or replaced by the larger meshed pigeon netting, to allow snow to fall through - wet snow is very heavy!

As far as birds are concerned, nothing works as well as covering the crop completely with a good quality fruit cage. A fruit cage or on a smaller area, a netting clad cloche, is ideal for protecting your cabbages and lettuces from marauding pigeons, and means that you have complete peace of mind, no matter how many hungry birds circle your garden.
